Oops there goes another...

Oh dear. Yet one more file being bungled by this government.

Harper supporters had such High Hopes for their leader and his agenda. I'm afraid I'm hard pressed to come up with very much that they've done well.

Good catch. Welcome to the wonderful world of unintended consequences Mr. Harper! Another case of common sense and good governance being trumped by ideology.

Amazing isn't it? When do you suppose they are going to catch on?

The day after Stephane Dion wins a majority government?

Nice one ottlib. Though, I sincerely doubt they will even get it then.

And this is different from the previous gov't?

Personally, I don't know, but am curious on your view?

Hmm, anonymoose, did you not read the link? the program was running smoothly until Harpor stuck his gum into the wheels. And the Liberals had made steps to depoliticize this branch a handful of years back. Could it have gone further -- you bet. But Harpor's agenda is not to depoliticize things, instead, he just insists that all those under "the New Government' logo must fall into place and accept his people, questions unasked. It's like his fooforall about senate reform. First let me appoint a senator, like, my personal bag man from Quebec. Heck, make him a minister, so he can't be subjected to questions in the HoCs. Then lets give him our handbook on holding up prgress and keep him on a tight schedule of lollygagging and lounging at the poolside so he attends just five votes. Yep, and than you want to hear my ideas on senate reform?"
Harpor is charlatan redefined.
