Merry Christmas

To all of those who celebrate, I wish you a very Happy Christmas and if you don't, I wish you all the best throughout the holidays.

In the old days, it was not called the Holiday Season; the Christians called it 'Christmas' and went to church; the Jews called it 'Hanukkah' and went to synagogue; the atheists went to parties and drank. People passing each other on the street would say 'Merry Christmas!' or 'Happy Hanukkah!' or (to the atheists) 'Look out for the wall!' ~Dave Barry, "Christmas Shopping: A Survivor's Guide"

...all the best wishes possible for you and yours and let's hope that 2009 will bring something positive for our troubled world.

Merry Christmas to you too Marta.

Thanks for your kind words, but it's the comments in response to my posts that are important, I think.

Let's look forward to a good 2009!

Hmm.. It is a dilemma for me .When I read your very Good columns I feel I can't Really add except "right on.'... so I stay silent..
But I know you need to Know what we feel anyway. So I will make marks / if no sparks.../ more often
take care knb!!!

No pressure to comment Marta. I just meant that often the comments take on a life of their own that is more interesting than the post.

I'm more than grateful to have you as a reader.
