Who does this man think he is???What has Canada done in Afghanistan complain about Human Rights in China etc etc This is the man who wants to lead Canada???? Not My Canada Please!!!!
I would rather see this man lead country then the incompetent want we currently have on the tiller.
The Liberals, ignatieff as well need to stop calling the Harper government the Conservatives and call them the name they really are, The Reform Alliance Party. The break away incompetent partial Conservative Party that exists no more. Under Bully Harper, my Canada no more! Not the man (Dictorial Harper) I want to see leading Canada that's for sure. And BTW Dave,
I don't mind when this government is referred to as the 'Conservatives', what I despise is when they are referred to as Tory's, which they most certainly are not. I think Ignatieff has made this distinction as I have never heard him utter the term 'Tory' when speaking of Harper's party.

Oh, please...
That strategy failed miserably two elections ago, when Paul Martin's candidates were instructed to always refer to the Conservatives as "the Reform Alliance Party"....which they dutifully did until people started to *boo* them in public.
That, the "hidden agenda" and the hilarious "soldiers in our cities" were a contributing factor in the Liberal loss that time. Care to try and insult the Canadian public again?
Not a bad speech, but in the midst of an economic recession that is on everyone's minds, I don't think that Canada's place in the world is going to strike a chord with the electorate.

It's not, even though Canada's profile on the world stage has never been more prominent. Trying to get closer to China is a really bad idea, though...
I'm an artist with an interest in politics.
I'm also Charles A. Brown's granddaughter. He served WW1 - 73rd Battalion CEF, then later in the RAF. I'm afraid he kept his battles with the Red Baron a secret.

The man speaks of a lot of truth.
