Here's how.

oh ummm....
When will the Liberals stop emulating Conservatives...

What next? Talking points for talk radio shows?

As for the "stimulus" funding, the Liberals supported that budget with no hard deliverables (apart from putting Connies on probation). I told you so sounds about right now...

Truth be known, Canada is doing okay compared to some other nations with regards to this crisis.

Divisive politics? Yup, that the conservative mantra - two steps behind are the Liberals (remember that little coalition that was killed in part by Iggy?)

It's one thing to ask to put a stop to attack ads, I find them childish, but it's another to sing the bible of Iggy that way (...and to undermine the credibility of the one leader he knows can take his place – Michael Ignatieff.)

I'm surprised that there are not more comments about the weak new Liberal logos... That shade of red is awful, the maple leaf's stem is way too long, even the kerning of the letters amateurish (The L and the I).

cwtf, you crack me up. In a good way.

What colour horse are you riding on this merry-go-round, because we have been here a hundred times? You live in the world you wish to see and ignore the world you're in.

Deliverables were not an option and as much as I was not against the coalition, the Con's did their job and Canadians hated it.

Sing the bible of Iggy? I don't even know what that means.

As to the logo, I like the look. I don't like the colour though, I'm with you there. The stem of the maple leaf? I for one have a tree that produces those in my back yard, but that aside, I think any shorter and therefore higher on the l, wouldn't be balanced.

Isn't the kerning a result of the font? I like the simplicity of the font to be honest. I think it's far more contemporary than trying to look um, contemporary.

Help WantedTeam of individuals who value Canada and are keen to uphold Canadian values .

Those who have demonstrated an obsessive compulsion to attack, rather than carrying out their duties, need not apply.

Resumes will be fact checked, and references will be contacted (and vetted).

Isn't the kerning a result of the font? You can (and often should) set the kerning "manually" with fonts - even between individual letters. This is normally done with logos as a general rule...

KNB, I imagine that famed alternative budget that Liberals spoke about is under lock and key somewhere in Ottawa instead of being proposed to the Connies (you know, in the spirit of working together)...

cwtf,
"Truth be known, Canada is doing okay compared to some other nations with regards to this crisis."

Tell THAT to those who've lost their jobs, to those who can't collect EI, to those already trying to subsist on an income way below the poverty line & are trying to eat, pay rent, survive.
Have you looked at food prices lately? From one day to the next the cost of groceries keep rising. And in some cases by huge percentages. Last week I went to my local grocery store 3 times. In the case of 1 item, as an example, it went from $3.29 to $3.99 to $4.39 - all in the space of 3 days! And every item I went to buy had gone up by anywhere from 20 cents to $1.50 in the same period, in one case $2.00. And I couldn't afford to buy a couple of the items, & they were basics - not junk food, or specialty items. Something is very wrong with this picture.

Perhaps you personally are not affected by this recession but there are more people out there who are than those who aren't.

Sassy,
Love it! lol...

Penlan, I to am discouraged by the games that companies play.
Greed seems to be sole motivating factor.

I'm reading about CAE laying off 700 employees AFTER receiving Federal monies and announcing that it's putting $714 million in R&D... add that CAE had revenues of $439 million and high net earnings... None of this adds up...

It's funny how companies justified raising food prices because of the price of transportation - now the price of a barrel of oil is low yet....

There is something "fishy" about the price of staples, that's for sure. I've noticed the fluctuations that you talk about...
