I remember staying up with Walter Cronkite too see the first man on the moon. I faintly see him announcing President Kennedy's death . I saw a rerun of that , not long ago and he was quite a broadcaster..I will miss him.
I'm an artist with an interest in politics.
I'm also Charles A. Brown's granddaughter. He served WW1 - 73rd Battalion CEF, then later in the RAF. I'm afraid he kept his battles with the Red Baron a secret.

Walter Cronkite was one of three major American television presences in my young life. The others were Captain Kangaroo and the Vietnam War.
Anon, one who should be emulated, I think, in contemporary terms.
sjw. Ah, the incrongruity of the time.
